Our small-scale eco lodge is located on the beach with beautiful views of Lake Victoria and Saanane National Park.
The simple cottages and tents are situated in the middle of the (vegetable) garden of the farm. That’s right, you are surrounded by freshly grown fruits and vegetables. The proceeds from the farm and the rental of the rooms support the local community. The restaurant uses products form the farm and freshly caught fish. On the farm they grow amongst others, papaya, lemon grass, pineapple but you will also find chickens, guinea fowl, donkeys, geese and a cow. Adar is our dog who greets you every morning.
It would not be ours if it does not support the community.

Location
The Mwanza Lake View Farm is located in the Sengerema district which is one of the seven districts in the Mwanza region of Tanzania. It is approximately 20km form Mwanza city. With a ferry ride, it takes around 40 minutes to reach the city. If you want to go by car, it takes around 2 hours. This is because the bridge to cross the water is located south of the lodge and the city.
